Stylish Nursing Uniforms For Women - Closer Than You Think!

 Nursing uniforms are worn daily by nurses as part of their professional health care work. A nurse uniform is usually identification and casual attire worn by medical personnel for identification and hygiene. In the past, the standard nurse uniform comprised of a white dress, white scrub top and light cap. However, since the 1930s, the basic style has stayed relatively consistent. The modern day nurse uniform now includes a jacket or coat for additional warmth, aprons for protection against chemical spills, gloves and shoes.

Nurses have traditionally always wore white apron style dresses under their nurse scrubs. These dress shirts were usually cut above the waist with no sleeves. They included pockets on the arms and legs of the garments, allowing them to be worn as dress. Today, nurse uniforms are no longer restricted to being just dresses. Nurses are now allowed to dress in a number of different ways, which include: scrub uniforms, hospital scrubs, work uniforms, and even casual clothing worn while playing sports such as soccer. Nurses can choose any of these design styles to make a fashion statement. This aspect of their profession is considered to be quite admirable and shows the nurses that they are caring about how they look as well as the industry they work in.
